Please vote on May 15th, 2018 in the Bond Election for a new emergency services facilty to replace our 100 year old station!

BENEFIT TO THE PUBLIC
The new station would provide faster response times. It can be used as an emergency staging location in case of a disaster. Conference room will allow for public training and meeting space. Bigger bays will allow for modern apparatus to better protect the community.

PROTECTING THE PUBLIC
With our old ladder truck out of service due to unrepairable issues, our station cannot fit a modern ladder truck that could be useful in the event of an emergency at a building taller than 2 stories.  A new station would allow room for modern apparatus to provide better protection services.

LACK OF SPACE
The current Kellogg station is over 100 years old with bays too small to properly fit apparatus and does not allow for full and safe access to equipment compartments. We also do not have space for a conference room to allow for public training and meetings 

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
The cost will be $18.17 per year (less than $2 per month) for each $100,000 of assessed taxable property value for a $2.9 million bond. We are also seeking grant funds which would reduce taxpayer costs even further.
